#Empire suffers ratings drop in second episode of season two #EmpireSeason2

Empire 20The show that swept the nation this TV season is “Empire,” a ratings juggernaut. Breaking TV records, “Empire” is the first show in history to increase ratings every episode, thirteen straight times. Lee Daniels has much more than a hit on his hands.

“Empire” stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, along with rising stars, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray. They are supported by Grace Gealey, Kaitlin Doubleday, Serayah, and more. So far, Chris Rock, Ludacris, and Al Sharpton have guest starred.

As good as “Empire” is and as popular as it is, all good things must come to an end. Of course, there is still much more “Empire” in store, but the record ended at thirteen episodes. Last night’s episode only drew in 13.7 million viewers and even the streamed views won’t be enough to beat the first week, but “Empire” is still easily the top rated show on TV.
