Wednesday night means “Empire” and tonight’s episode picks up with the Lyon family learning Anika (Grace Gealey) is pregnant by Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray). The family is now adjusting to this news. In the meantime, Hakeem made plans with Laura (Jamila Velazquez).
Stressed out, Hakeem throws a wild party/video session, which he accidentally leaked to the internet. Because of this, Laura is alerted about the situation. When she arrives to see Hakeem, he tells her Anika is pregnant by him, leading to Laura slapping him.
Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) went to see Anika to discuss the new baby and the family dynamics. Already afraid since Lucious (Terrence Howard) threatened her, Anika had no plans of being a family, but Hakeem convinced her. But, when Cookie arrived to see Anika, she found paramedics with her after she fell down the stars and fans think Laura did it.
