It goes without saying that Anika (Grace Gealey) was treated horribly by the Lyon family. This was the primary reason that Andre and Rhonda (Trai Byers and Kaitlin Doubleday) befriended her. That didn’t stop Anika from apparently pushing Rhonda down the stairs.
Pregnant, Rhonda shared the details of her pregnancy with Anika, who was secretly carrying Hakeem’s (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) child. After learning Lucious (Terrence Howard) called their child “the heir,” Anika went crazy. She has since calmed down and some felt she wasn’t guilty.
Tonight’s episode made it seem otherwise, as Anika pushed Rhonda out of the way of the falling furniture. It immediately brought Rhonda back to being pushed down the stairs, saying she remembered the hands. In the closing scene, Rhonda noticed Anika’s shoes and put two and two together, setting Twitter ablaze.
