It doesn’t seem that long ago, when this time of year was thought of as the time for Dwight Howard to shine. Believe it or not, he was once a top five NBA superstar, on par with LeBron James. When he was playing for the Magic, Howard beat LeBron’s Cavs.
Dwight Howard won his first NBA Finals game, before LeBron, as his team, the Magic, lost to Kobe’s Lakers. From there, it was a gradual decline for Dwight Howard and his Magic. Howard would later play for the Lakers, and then with James Harden at the Rockets.
Since, Dwight Howard has become a journeyman, going from superstar to role player. He struggled, missing most of this season, but he is still an active father, reuniting with his ex, Royce Reed. For a period, she was a reality star, doing “Basketball Wives,” and they reunited to support their son, in his middle school graduation.
