There was a time when people questioned if J. Cole would ever release his debut album. That time is close to a decade ago and, since then, he has become Nas’ heir apparent. While he didn’t take the spotlight the way Drake did, J. Cole has become a strong alternative.
J. Cole, still, managed to dominate the top of the charts, and fans have come to expect him to do it every year. In addition to that, J. Cole is expected to drop a platinum album, each year. That album normally has no features.
What J. Cole did, outside of his own music, was launch Dreamville, his record label. He is now partnered with Interscope Records and they have their Revenge of the Dreamers series. Part three drops tomorrow, the documentary dropped yesterday, and the track listing drops now.
