Unlike their previous two NBA Finals trips, the Golden State Warriors are playing a team capable of beating them. This is a good thing, as the Warriors were 8-1, combined in the past two Finals. Plus, no real competitive Finals for three years is bad for business.
These Toronto Raptors have a new franchise player, in Kawhi Leonard, who led the team to the NBA Finals. The price for him was their franchise cornerstone, but the prize is this 2-1 series lead. To get there, the Raptors beat the Magic, Sixers, and NBA best, Milwaukee Bucks.
In the NBA Finals, they have given the Golden State Warriors absoulte fits. This is in spite of Draymond Green really stepping up. Tonight, having Klay Thompson back, the Warriors are playing their hearts out, but still losing, and Draymond got a foul call, but still cursed at the ref, and has Twitter demanding a tech.
