Draymond Green talks the Warriors’ season, mentoring James Wiseman, and defending Luka Doncic, on “The Jump” [VIDEO]

Prior to the Kevin Durant signing, the Golden State Warriors organically built a contender. Before this, the Warriors had a championship, and a letdown. The Warriors were building something special and they kept building.

The core is Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Once the franchise built around this, the Warriors started winning games. By 2015, they won 67 games, and the title, which began their dynasty.

Draymond Green was the lone member of the core, who played last season, and the Warriors fell to being the NBA’s worst team. When Klay Thompson was announced to be out for this season, the Warriors were expected to be a bad team, again, but Stephen Curry has had other plans. The surprise team of the season, Draymond Green spoke to Rachel Nichols, of “The Jump” about Golden State, this season, his mentoring James Wiseman, and having to defend Luka Doncic.
