The past few years have easily belonged to Drake, as he represents the overall shift in music. Enough was said when Drake took over the game with “Hotline Bling,” a non-album single. In some ways, this was the third diss to Meek Mill.
But, Drake has faced more opposition than Meek Mill, in recent years and months. His other backlash came from Chris Brown, his longtime rival, and Tyga, his longtime label-mate. Indeed a strange situation, it was light work to Drake, when it was all said and done.
Releasing no albums in 2015, Drake scored two number one albums on the Billboard album charts. Amazing, but he has yet to deliver the project he has promised fans, dating back to 2014. Yesterday, rumors began of his album leaking and, apparently it did, but it was immediately deleted from iTunes.
