Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” Single Featuring Lil Durk Reaches 2x Platinum Status

Drake has had another huge hit record on his fans over the last few months with “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Drake Following its release, he announced that his upcoming sixth studio album will be titled ‘Certified Lover Boy.’ Laugh Now Cry Later’s visuals featured the two at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. Athletes such as Odell Beckham Jr, Marshawn Lynch, and Kevin Durant also appeared in it.

Laugh Now Cry Later was certified platinum by the RIAA in the US in August after selling 1 million units. Now, it has quickly gotten to 2x platinum as well, according to Chart Data. This comes after Drake released a trailer for Certified Lover Boy where he recreated covers for his albums and while announcing that CLB will be out in January.

Drake originally said his sixth album would arrive in the summer time but that did not happen. He did put out his ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ mixtape out on May 1 though, which included hits such as “When To Say When,” “Chicago Freestyle” featuring Giveon, and “Pain 1993” feat. Playboi Carti.
