Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy,” is Number One Album in US, For Second Consecutive Week

A few weeks ago, Drake finally delivered his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.” That was released, after being delayed for nine months. That went on to debut at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, with 613,000 units sold.

Now, CLB continues to dominate, in its second week. According to Chart Data, it is still number one, with 233,000 units sold. It’s also the first rap album to spend it’s first two weeks at number one, in 2021.

The number two spot is held by Kanye West’s “Donda” again, with 81,000 units. Number three goes to Kacey Musgraves’ new “Star-Crossed” album, with 73,000 units.

Nine songs on CLB also occupy nine out of the top 10 spots, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The number one song in the US is currently Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” ft. Young Thug and Future.
