Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy,” Becomes First Rap Album, of 2021, to Spend Five Total Weeks at Number One Spot, on Billboard 200 Chart

Drake’s new “Certified Lover Boy” album has been on fire, ever since originally releasing, on September 3. It debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, and spent three consecutive weeks, at that position. It went on to go for a fourth week, before Young Thug’s “Punk” album took over.

Now, CLB is back on top again, on the Billboard 200, according to Chart Data. Over the past week, the album sold 74,000 units, over the past week. Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous” album is back at the second spot, and Doja Cat’s “Planet Her,” is back at number three.

CLB was one of the most anticipated albums of 2021, as it was delayed for the first nine months of the year. Following its release, it debuted nine songs, in the top 10, of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Way 2 Sexy” ft. Future and Young Thug also debuted as the number one song, in the US.

Additional appearances on CLB included Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Jay Z, 21 Savage, and more. 21 songs were available in total, as the album is already regarded as an album of the year candidate.
