Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy,” Becomes First Rap Album in 2021, to Spend Its First Two Weeks at Number One, on Billboard 200 Chart

Drake finally released his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy,” after fans waited, due to a nine-month delay. This project exceeded expectations, as it contained 21 tracks, Ana Collabs with Jay Z, Lil Baby, Young Thug, 21 Savage, and more.

CLB initially debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, with 613,000 units. Now, the latest project from Drake still remains on top.

According to Chart Data, CLB is still number one, with 236,000 units. It’s also the first rap album to spend it’s first two weeks at this position.

Every studio album that Drake has released in his career as debuted at number one. CLB is also the second project that Drake has released over the past year and a half.
