Last week, Drake finally released his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy,” after being delayed for nine months. This project is on its way to debuting at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, this week, with possibly 600,000 units.
CLB is currently breaking streaming records on Apple Music and Spotify, and now, has reached another accolade. According to Chart Data, it is now the first album this year, to sell 500,000 units, in less than a week.
This 500,000 mark also makes CLB eligible for a gold certification, by the RIAA. This project contained 21 tracks in total, with appearances from Lil Baby, Jay Z, Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, and more.
Arguably, the most popular song from CLB so far, has been “Way 2 Sexy,” ft. Future and Young Thug. It’s already in heavy rotation, at various nightclubs and radio stations, nationwide.
