Drake has been dominating in 2021, even after delaying his January release date of his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.” He made up for that for sure in March though by putting out his “Scary Hours 2” EP. That project contained three songs in “What’s Next,” “Wants And Needs” feat. Lil Baby, and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” feat. Rick Ross. All three songs made history by debuting in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Now, Drake will be adding another impressive accolade to his resume this month. According to Chart Data, he will be presented with the Artist of The Decade award at the Billboard Music Awards. This event will take place on May 23 in Los Angeles. Drake receiving this award is no surprise to many as the 2010s turned him into a superstar and one of the most dominant artists in the world,
Drake is also up for seven other BBMAs nominations as well. The Weekend leads all artists in nominations with an impressive 16. Drake still hasn’t revealed a new date for the CLB album but many expect it could finally arrive sometime this summer or the start of the fall.
