Drake has had another amazing year for himself as he’s been part of one of the hottest records such as Future’s “Life Is Good” along with his own “Chicago Freestyle” featuring Giveon and “When To Say When.” He also had another No. 1 record in “Toosie Slide” in April.
On May 1, Drake released his ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ mixtape which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. At the time of this project’s announcement, he also revealed that his sixth studio album would be out this summer. That hasn’t happened yet but this may be happening soon as last month, he collaborated with DJ Khaled on the songs “Greece” and “Popstar.” He has also now taken to Instagram and Twitter to reveal that new music is coming this Friday at midnight.
Drake didn’t clarify whether this would be a song or the actual album. The post he put up displayed a video of him riding a jet ski. As of now, the anticipation is very real as is the case with anything that Drake drops. Check out the announcement below..
