Initially, fans expected Drake to release his third studio album in 2012. But, this was unlikely seeing how late in 2011 he released Take Care. Well into 2012, Drake continued releasing singles off his sophomore album. During this time, Drake did reveal he was working on his third album. However, there was no release date scheduled.
Because Drake did not release an album in 2012, it has been expected from him to release a new album this year. Due to his frequent work with Future, Drake has managed to make headlines. However, he is not as high-profile as some others this year. But, this will all change as soon as Drake begins making plans for a new album.
Recently, it was revealed that Drake is indeed working on a third studio album, Started From the Bottom. While the album does not have a release date, Drake does have a date planned to drop the fist single from the project. On the night of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Drake will release the first single off his upcoming album.
