In a three-year span, Drake has become one of the most-popular rappers in the game. On the mixtape scene, Drake built a name for himself before signing with Young Money in 2009. Fresh off the release of Take Care, his sophomore album, Drake is preparing for his work in 2012. The biggest project Drake has in the works this year is the “Club Paradise Tour.”

Before the tour begins, Drake is performing shows around the world. Among the places Drake has had the chance to perform has been South Africa. Recently, Drake discussed his time in South Africa, before performing “Best I Ever Had” at the Sundance Film Festival this past weekend. Drake said he went to Africa prepared to perform his older hits and the fans demanded to hear songs from Take Care.

Giving the fans what they wanted, Drake performed the new songs from Take Care. Drake said he was surprised the fans already knew every song off the album word-for-word. Switching up for the fans was a wonderful experience for Drake. However, he was surprised when the crowd knew his lyrics. Because of this, the Young Money rapper enjoyed his time in Africa.

Perhaps the craziest experience for Drake came when he went on a safari. While on the safari, Drake revealed he was tackled by a tiger.
