The Drake curse is something sports fans are really beginning to fall for, in spite of all that he’s done. Before it was the in thing to do, Drake took on a role as ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. Prior, he was one of the many bandwagon Miami Heat fans.
But, Drake showed DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry the same love as he did for LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. By last year, those guys were finally better than LeBron’s Cavs, until they weren’t. That sweep led to DeRozan going to San Antonio in exchange for Kawhi Leonard.
Tonight, Kawhi Leonard broke Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers’ hearts with his game-winner. The Sixers thought Jimmy Butler got them overtime, but Kawhi Leonard changed that. But, Drake revealed he was wearing Sixers shorts, which means the “Drake curse” is still on, and he got Toronto the W, onto the Bucks, now!
