Currently, Drake is on top of the rap world, as he just dropped a surprise project. After weeks of rumors of releasing a surprise mixtape, Drake released If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, last night. Seeing how the project was released via retail, many assumed it was an album.
Previously, Drake announced Views From The 6 would be his fourth album. The single, “0 To 100 / The Catch Up,” was also released, but is a non album single. So, the If You’re Reading This… project came as a complete surprise.
While many were giving Drake props on his new album, which is expected to sell 500,000 copies in three days, he had news for them. The surprise mixtape the fans were expecting was a bigger surprise than expected. This surprise album was never an album, it was a mixtape Drake chose to release via retail.
