Drake Officially Confirms September 3 Release Date For Upcoming Sixth Studio Album, “Certified Lover Boy”

The wait has been on for a while now, regarding Drake’s sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.” It was initially supposed to be out in January, but Drake went on to announced at the end of that month that it’d be delayed. He did make it up to fans though, with the release of his “Scary Hours 2” EP, which contained the top three songs in the US.

Last weekend, a sign was also inserted into ESPN’s morning SportsCenter intro, where it said that CLB would be out on September 3. Many thought Drake and ESPN partnered up to announce the release date, but that wasn’t the case.

Now, Drake has officially confirming that CLB will be out on September 3, via his Instagram feed. He posted a photo of different women emojis looking pregnant, as his caption read “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3.”

The tracklist and cover art for CLB haven’t been revealed yet, but that’ll likely change, a few days before the album’s official release This will also likely be Drake’s sixth consecutive number one album. Every studio album that he’s put out in his career has reached this mark.
