All of the ingredients are there for Drake to fully emerge as the biggest rapper in the game. Like all of the rap stars ahead of him, Drake has a major rival with big hits and the focus of the game. As most know, Drake has a primary rival in Chris Brown.
Both have dominated the early part of 2015 by releasing new albums, although Drake sometimes classifies his as a mixtape. While still working on Views From The 6, Drake surprise released If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late. The album immediately topped the charts.
The rivalry is between Drake and Chris Brown, but the media has always played up a rivalry with him and J. Cole. Even in this rivalry, Drake holds his own, as he has his own platinum news to match what J. Cole received. If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late has gone platinum, but his feat is more impressive because the album has yet to even have physical copies sold.
