It seems as if Drake has done almost everything an artist can do, but he hasn’t. Despite being much more popular than Lil Wayne ever was, according to Google, Drake had limits. Last summer, Drake released his single, “Hotline Bling,” and it took over the world.
Despite how popular “Hotline Bling” was, it missed its moment to top the Billboard Hot 100. Instead, the record remained number two, while pop stars, Adele, and Justin Bieber, spent weeks at number one. But, the moment for Drake was coming.
This afternoon, Billboard revealed the moment is finally here. A few days ago, Drake dropped Views and immediately sold over 1 million copies in the first week. Now, the track, “One Dance,” has topped the Billboard Hot 100.
