Dr Dre said he’s never heard of 50 Cent’s Sleek headphones
Earlier this week, 50 Cent took his longtime beef with his former bosses, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre public. Via Twitter, 50 Cent said they were upset because of his Sleek by 50 headphones. Upon discovering his new deal, 50 Cent said they asked him not to go against them.
50 Cent posted an entire Twitter rant about the situation. Having worked with Dr. Dre for Detox, 50 said it looks like he will not be on the album. Before things got out of hand, 50 Cent reached out and apologized to Jimmy Iovine. After clearing things with Iovine, he said he next had to apologize to Dr. Dre.
TMZ asked Dr. Dre about his beef with 50 Cent over the new headphones and he gave a surprising response. Despite all of the news online, Dr. Dre said he had never heard of Sleek by 50. Of course, Dre could have said this as a slight jab to 50’s new endeavor. But, to read what 50 Cent posted on Twitter, it appears as if Dr. Dre has serious beef with 50 Cent over his new headphone lines. Only time will tell.
