Throughout his career, Dr. Dre has continued to defy the odds. Being a young man growing up in Compton, it was a big enough of an accomplishment to make it into the music business. Surviving his first hardship and prospering was even more of a surprise.
Leaving deals with both Ruthless and Death Row Records to bigger successes, each time, made Dr. Dre a success. During both switches, it could’ve gone either way. But, each time Dr. Dre faced hardships, he went in and developed a Snoop Dogg or an Eminem.
Business deals, through the years, continued to pay off for Dr. Dre and it now leaves him on the brink of being hip hop’s first billionaire. But, there is drama crowding his name, with Suge Knight blaming Dr. Dre setting up a peace meeting for his deadly hit and run in Compton. This is something Dr. Dre laughs off, because he never arranged for any such meeting with his former partner.
