Dr. Dre Has Reportedly Been Ordered To Pay Ex-Wife, Nicole Young, $293,306 in Monthly Spousal Support, Until Final Decision in Court is Made; Over $3.5 Million Per Year Will Be Paid Until Nicole Remarries or “Enters New Domestic Partnership”

Dr. Dre had been going through a very ugly divorce battle over the past year with his ex-wife, Nicole Young. Nicole filed for divorce in June 2020, and since then, Dre has had to pay her hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. Dre was recently declared a single man but now, more massive legal fees heading towards Nicole are going against Dre.

According to Radar Online, Dre has been ordered by a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge to pay Nicole $293,306 in monthly spousal support. This is until a final decision is made on final spousal support.

“[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” stated court documents.

Dre must also pay Nicole $3,519,672 per year until she remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership.” In addition to these large spousal support payments, the hip-hop legend must also pay for Nicole’s health insurance.

Nicole and Dre had been married for 24 years, and have two children together. The prenup issue is also still being worked on legally. Nicole has been claiming that there was a prenup, but Dre tore it up, a few years into their marriage.

Dre is also said to have made $1 billion during his marriage, which came from music revenue, and from his Beats By Dre headphones. Nicole added that he has $262 million in cash and Apple stock. Living expenses amounted to $2.3 monthly, during their marriage.

In early January, Dre also suffered a brain aneurysm in Los Angeles. He was hospitalized for almost two weeks, but was then sent home. Dre was being monitored by doctors at his home, to make sure that no other problems surfaced. The cause of the aneurysm was never discovered.
