Protests continue to go hard all around America in efforts to shed light on the constant racism and police brutality in this country. We are also seeing more sports organizations take a knee during the national anthem before games to address these issues, which was started by former San Francisco 49ers star, Colin Kaepernick, in August of 2016.
On Sunday night, Dr. Dre took to his Instagram account to post a photo of himself taking a knee with Kaepernick. The photo was taken in what appeared to be in the mountains or a park. This photo is iconic in itself as Kaepernick is already known as one of the greatest athletes turned activists of this generation and Dre is one of the most legendary artists/producers/businessmen of all-time.
It’ll be interesting to see if Dre and Kaepernick have any partnerships lined up moving forward.
