When the Cleveland Cavaliers signed LeBron James and paired him with Kyrie Irving, they also traded for Kevin Love. This decision cost them Andrew Wiggins, the number one overall pick in the draft. It was tough, at first, and there were rumors of friction on the team.
It was often said that LeBron James and Kevin Love didn’t get along and one had to go. Still, the Cavaliers managed to get to the finals with no resistance. While they lost to the Warriors, they defied logic and history in 2016, ending all rumors of friction.
Kevin Love has gone from being a great player on a bad team to an NBA champion. Ultimately, Kevin Love has turned out to be a good fit and now he’s come close to making history. Opening this game against the Trail Blazers, Kevin Love has made NBA Twitter history, with his 34 points and eight three pointers, he’s on pace for 100 points tonight.
