Up in New York City, it’s a new wave, and they are crafting their own sound. During the last few runs, NY rappers were criticized for sounding too much like the South. Since 2016, that hasn’t necessarily been the case, though.
Instead, New York has a sound that is much different from the era of the legends, which is perfectly fine. This new era is giving birth to Don Q, among many other stars. With his momentum growing, Don Q is becoming a star, in the game.
Don Q recently chopped it up with Rosenberg on his Hot 97 late night show. Fresh off the release of Don Talk, Don Q discussed his new project, and what comes next for him. The buzzing rapper also talked about A Boogie, Pusha T, and a lot more.
