Doja Cat’s “Planet Her,” Reaches Top of Billboard 200 Chart, Two Months After Its Release; Becomes Doja’s First Number One Album

In late June, Doja Cat delivered her third studio album, “Planet Her.” This was one of the most anticipated releases of 2021, as many fans feel that she exceeded expectations. This project was by smash hits such as “Kiss Me More” feat. Doja Cat, and “Need To Know.” Additional features included The Weeknd, Young Thug, Ariana Grande, JID, and also Eve and Gunna, on the deluxe edition.

Planet Her initially debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and spent three weeks in that position. It continued to remain one of the hottest albums in the albums in the world, and has now reached a huge milestone.

According to Chart Data, Planet Her is now the number one album in the US. This is after totaling 59,000 units over the past week. The number two spot is occupied by Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR,” and number three is held by Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever.

This is now Doja’s first number one album of her career, and could be the start of even more. Kiss Me More continues to be a huge record as well, as it currently stands at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “You Right” feat. The Weekend is at 16, “Need To Know” is 20, “Ain’t Sh*t” is 47, and “Woman” is 84..
