Doja Cat extends Billboard 200 record with “Planet Her”

Doja Cat has definitely been one of the most dominant artists in the world, over the last year. She’s had a top three record in “Kiss Me More” ft. SZA, as well as a top two album in “Planet Her.”

Planet Her continues to be very consistent on the charts as well, even in 2022. According to Chart Data, it has extended its streak of being the album by a female rapper with the most weeks in the top 10 in Billboard 200 history. It is now at 28 straight weeks.

Currently, Planet Her is at number nine, on the Billboard 200. This project was also led by other hits such as “You Right,” Ft. The Weeknd, “Woman,” “Need To Know,” and “Ain’t Sh*t.” Additional features on the album included Gunna, Eve, Ariana Grande, and JID.

Doja is also nominated for eight Grammys, at the upcoming April ceremony, in Las Vegas. This is tied for the second most nominations for 2022, with Justin Bieber and H.E.R. The awards show was initially set to take place in Los Angeles in late January as usual, but COVID-19 concerns at the time, delayed it again, for the second straight year.
