Doja Cat’s “Planet Her,” becomes first album by a female rapper, to spend six months in the top 10, on Billboard 200 chart

In 2021, Doja Cat continued to show why she is still one of the biggest stars in the world. She saw a top three hit in “Kiss Me More,” ft. SZA, as well as her third studio album, “Planet Her.”

Planet Her continues to dominate in the beginning of 2022, as well. This week, the album stands at number nine, on the Billboard 200 chart. Over the past week, it sold 33,600 units.

According to Chart Data, Planet Her now becomes the first album by a female rapper, in history, to spend six months in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. It has also sold 1,390,000 units, since its release.

Planet Her initially debuted at number two, when it was released, in June 2021. It went on to spend three consecutive weeks, at that position. It also created more massive hits, such as “Get Into It (Yuh),” “Woman,” “Need To Know,” and “You Right,” ft. The Weeknd. Additional features included Eve, Gunna, JID, and Ariana Grande.
