Doja Cat Set to Host 2021 VMAs, Next Month, at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn

Doja Cat has been on fire this year, just like her breakout 2020. She’s had another hit record in “Kiss Me More” feat. SZA, “Need To Know,” and “Ain’t Sh*t.” These all appeared on her third studio album, “Planet Her,” in June. That project debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and is still currently at that position.

Now, the pop star is set to participate in another huge event. According to Variety, Doja will be the host of the 2021 VMAs, which is set to take place on September 12. The venue will be the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The awards show was initially set to take place there last year, but COVID-19 was an issue.

Doja is nominated in five categories as well, which Include Video of the Year and Artist of the Year. She is also scheduled to perform. Justin Bieber has the most nominations with seven, and Megan Thee Stallion comes in at second, with six.
