It’s hard to look at what T.I. has done and continues to do with Grand Hustle Records and not be impressed by it. When the odds were stacked against him, T.I. made himself into the king of the South and dropped solid hits. Grand Hustle Records became a force in its own right.
Once T.I. felt his worth and that of his label had increased, he sought a deal that expressed this. Atlantic Records did not get with the program, so T.I.’s brand new start no longer includes them. Grand Hustle Records is now an independent record label and Doe B is fast becoming the new flagship artist.
Doe B is fresh off the release of his Baby Jesus mixtape and he has recently made his media rounds through New York City. Sway Calloway is the latest person to sit down with Doe B. They talked about Baby Jesus over at Shade 45 for “Sway in the Morning” and also discussed his home at Grand Hustle.
