Today has been a very scary day for DMX as he was hospitalized for a heart attack caused by an apparent drug overdose last night. He was then transferred to a local hospital in White Plains, NY.
Early reports today stated that DMX was on life support then, was taken off. This was due to him supposedly being able to breathe on his own. Now, it is being reported by his attorney, Murray Richman, to Rolling Stone, that this is actually not the case. This comes after telling PIX11 that he was able to breathe by himself.
Richman says that he was given “wrong information.” It was initially revealed that DMX was in a “vegetative state” with some brain activity still occurring. Hopefully, DMX’s condition improves and he is in fact able to breathe on his own soon.
