Christmas has always been kind to the Miami Heat (since they began getting regular Christmas appearances). Against the Lakers, the Heat are 4-0 against them on Christmas. But, they took a massive blowout loss to the LeBron-led Cavs in 2007 on Christmas.
DJ Khaled really came forward as a Miami Heat fan when LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade down there. This period of time was clearly the best in Heat franchise history. Miami won two NBA titles and went to the finals four time.
As expected, LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers has made them a good team, better than the Heat, so many thought they’d win on Christmas. But, Dwyane Wade had other plans and the Heat beat the Cavaliers, pleasing DJ Khaled. He put an Instagram tribute up, which was honoring his hometown team after their win.
