Over the past week, DJ Khaled has been posting owl-themed photos and videos which has fans assuming that he is working on some new records with Drake. The owl is the logo to Drake’s OVO record label so the signs were all there.

New material from the long-time collaborators is indeed happening. Khaled took to his social media feeds to announce that two new songs with Drake will be out on Friday at midnight. He said that these are “2 keys and 2 anthems.” The announcement displayed Khaled in his backyard as he stared down an owl.

Khaled and Drake are no strangers to creating hits together. Among the major records they created in the 2010s are “For Free” in 2016, “No New Friends” in 2013, and “I’m On One” which also featured Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Fans have been waiting for the two to deliver a summer anthem for this year and now, we are about to get two. Check out Khaled’s announcement on Instagram below.
