A few years ago, DJ Khaled took some time off, reorganized, and became one of the top artists in the game. He did so by linking with Drake for his first single. When people think of Summer 2016, they think of “For Free.”
DJ Khaled would go onto truly establish himself as a force of nature, in 2017. That was the year when he began topping the Billboard Hot 100. It’s been up, from there, and Khaled continues dropping hits with Drake.
Last summer, DJ Khaled dropped “Popstar,” featuring Drake, and Justin Bieber starred in the music video. The song has already been a tremendous success. Now, there is even more to celebrate, as the song has now been certified double platinum.
