Lately, DJ Khaled has been everywhere and closing major deals all along the way. Although Khaled is a Miami native and built his buzz through Southern rap, he has love for the old school. After all, he originally came up working with Fat Joe, in addition to Miami’s scene.
DJ Khaled has since become a favorite with Diddy and Jay Z, the latter of which is his manager. Also, DJ Khaled has a deal with Epic Records, working with L.A. Reid. This deal houses Ace Hood and Kent Jones, who is currently owning radio.
In a week, DJ Khaled will release his Major Key album and there is a new single coming. The name of the single is “Holy Key,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, and Betty Wright. Meanwhile, the album track listing will be revealed, along with the single release, and the album trailer, boasting a Nas feature.
