Since 2010, DJ Envy has been one third of “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1 and this is what most have come to know him for in recent years. A reason why “The Breakfast Club” is so popular is because each personality plays their own role. Charlamagne Tha God is the reckless one, Anglea Yee acts as a buffer, and DJ Envy is the more-reserved member.
DJ Envy has more of a history in the industry than his counterparts, dating back almost two decades. These years have seen DJ Envy working with some of the biggest artists and DJs in the game. Among those included is DJ Clue, but DJ Envy has spent his recent years working more with “The Breakfast Club.”
Known for his reservation, it’s rare to see DJ Envy outside of this. He recently got out of his comfort zone, that most know him for, while he was in Las Vegas. At the 2014 iHeart Radio Music Festival, Angela Yee caught DJ Envy on camera turning up to one of the songs playing.
