One man a lot of DJs dream of having success like is DJ Drama, as he’s set the mixtape standard over the past ten years. Releasing classic mixtapes and helping the likes of T.I. and Jeezy gain stardom, DJ Drama is regarded as a legend. Furthermore, DJ Drama is paid like a legend.
Mixtapes, management, albums, and even an A&R position at Atlantic Records are some of the jobs DJ Drama holds. Two years ago, DJ Drama released his last album, Quality Street Music. The lead single, “My Moment,” just recently went gold and DJ Drama is celebrating this, while working on his next album, Quality Street Music 2.
DJ Drama recently released his single, “Right Back,” featuring Jeezy, Rich Homie Quan, and Young Thug. Currently, DJ Drama is making his media rounds and he stopped by HotNewHipHop to discuss his project. He talked about the evolution of the Gangsta Grillz series and his “Right Back” single.
