In the late 1990s, DJ Clue rose to fame through his role as Jay-Z’s DJ. A popular radio personality in New York City, DJ Clue also worked for Hot 97. As the years went by, the roles changed and DJ Clue launched Desert Storm Records with Fabolous. DJ Clue has since left Hot 97 for Power 105.1.
Currently, DJ Clue has a good thing going, although he has been replaced by DJ Khaled and DJ Drama, in the mainstream. Desert Storm Radio is going stronger than ever with such names as Preemo and DJ J-Boogie representing the brand. DJ Clue and company also have a major charity event coming up.
Things were going well for DJ Clue until this morning. When he was pulled over in New York City, DJ Clue had a suspended license. There were also two pills found in his vehicle, which led to his immediate arrest. Later today, DJ Clue will be arraigned and, in the meantime, is in police custody.
