DJ Akademiks Says That It Was a Lie That Tekashi 6ix9ine Asked Benny The Butcher For a Feature; Benny Supposedly Got Pranked By Someone From Clubhouse

Over the weekend, Benny The Butcher took to Twitter to claim that Tekashi 6ix9ine’s manager contacted him about wanting a feature for 6ix9ine. The Buffalo rapper took a hard pass on this one as he took to Twitter to create a poll for fans asking if he should do the collaboration. The poll choices were either “No” or “F*ck no.”

Now, it appears that this wasn’t the case for 6ix9ine at all in regards to wanting the Benny feature. DJ Akamdemiks took to his Instagram stories to say that 6ix9ine never asked for this feature. This was actually supposedly a prank call done by someone from Clubhouse.

“6ix9ine ain’t ask none of these n***as for features lol… that was a prank call.. the prank dude did it on clubhouse.. just to show how ppl will clout chase w anything. N btw… no diss but if 69 finna ask for a feature why not ask drake, baby or roddy ricch,” he continued. “Some of the people saying they got asked… might need a feature from Lil AK at this point.”

Benny and many other rappers at this point don’t want to work with 6ix9ine after he told on the Nine Trey Bloods in court in September 2019. This was after getting kidnapped and robbed by them in his hometown of Brooklyn in the summer of 2018. 6ix9ine did this and it helped him turn a 49-year prison sentence into two years with time being credit. He was allowed to serve the remaining months of the sentence on house arrest last April due to COVID-19 concerns.
