Funk Volume is much more than a local movement, they have people everywhere and they are bringing hip hop back to the forefront. Never before has there been much of a hip hop scene in Las Vegas, but Dizzy Wright changed that. Dizzy Wright ended up signing with Funk Volume and the rest is history.
Dizzy Wright has been a mixtape force, but has taken the past few months off. Instead, his label-mate, Jarren Benton, has had a bigger share of the spotlight. Last month, Jarren Benton released his breakthrough album, My Grandma’s Basement, which includes collaborations with Dizzy Wright.
Earlier today, Dizzy Wright announced plans to drop his new mixtape. The Golden Age is the name of the tape and he is wasting no time in getting it started. With August 19 set as the album release date, Dizzy Wright did not hold back on the releases, announcing the mixtape with the cover.
