Last weekend, hip-hop lost Bad Boy Records legend, Black Rob. This is after he dealt with health issues over the last five years as he reportedly passed from kidney failure. Rob was known most for his 2000 hit single, “Whoa!” He went on to release three albums in total. His debut studio album, “Life Story,” debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and went platinum.
Fans of Rob waited for a while for Diddy to speak on his death as there were disappointed that he didn’t pay for Rob’s medical expenses. Rob’s family didn’t meet their GoFundMe financial goals and in the end, he wasn’t able to have his life saved. Diddy did go on to post a tribute on Instagram.
Now, according to Page Six, Diddy is reportedly offering to pay for Rob’s funeral. Sources close to the situation also add that he actually did offer to pay for Rob’s medical expenses but it was “too late.”
“Diddy offered help for Rob but in the end, sadly, it was too late. He wants to make sure Rob is laid to rest with dignity and according to his wishes. He is helping to make the funeral arrangements.”
in Diddy’s IG post, he said one thing that all of Rob’s records have in common is that they made millions of people worldwide feel good and dance.
