Very publicly, Nas dealt with having a daughter entering adulthood and he gained critical acclaim for it. Before this, Nas often talked in his music about black women picking the right men. Such lines as “young princess, when you get your wedding ring, your man’ll sing ‘she’s my QUEEEEN‘” come to mind.
But, Destiny Jones is her own woman and she has her own set of friends. In several interviews, Nas talked about his daughter coming into her own and how they are dealing with it. Her friends, however, do not always mean boyfriend, even though the media has a tendency to blow things out of proportion.
Destiny Jones put a photo on her Instagram yesterday evening and she was hanging out with hip hop’s newest star. Last month, Bobby Shmurda ended up taking over the game with his music. Now, he has gotten the co-sign from the child of a legend.
