A year and a half ago, Desiigner broke through with “Panda.” But, the irony is that most people didn’t even realize it. As late as the BET Awards, a lot of people thought “Panda” was a Future song. Even with the news of him signing with G.O.O.D., fans were lost.
Soon, Desiigner made himself into a recognizable figure with his unique dialect, and his similar look to Iman Shumpert. Then, there are the co-signs from Kanye West and Jay Z. The rising star is now working on his sophomore album, on top of everything else.
Desiigner stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he spoke to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. He spoke on his major distaste for New York radio. While there, Desiigner also talked about the Future comparisons.
