Two years ago, Desiigner was one of the hottest rising talents, in the game. The Brooklyn rapper immediately gained comparisons to Future, as “Panda” began taking the radio over. As his popularity grew, he ended up signing to G.O.O.D. Music.
However, Desiigner hasn’t had the same type of success, since the summer of 2016. He had one more single that had moderate airplay, but he hasn’t had the same star power. Still, rightfully so, Desiigner is credited for leading the current New York rap domination.
Desiigner, however, is no longer the focal point of this movement. This was proven, a few days ago, when he made a request of his fans. He asked his fans to give him 50,000 retweets, and he would drop his new song, but he only has 1,500 retweets, as of this afternoon.
