There are plenty of heartbroken Chicago Bulls fans, as Derrick Rose got traded, this week. But, the Bulls’ brass is known for blowing up their roster. After all, they broke up Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Phil Jackson weeks after they won their sixth championship.
Derrick Rose, meanwhile, has become an injury-prone player and he led the Bulls to their first non-playoff season under his watch. At his best, Rose was an MVP and the Bulls topped the NBA in wins. But, they only made one Conference Finals appearance in that stretch.
Now, Derrick Rose is a member of the New York Knicks and he wears jersey number 25. Yesterday, Derrick Rose did his press conference, speaking on his new team. Still confused on why the Bulls traded him, Rose thanked them for giving him a fresh start with the Knicks, as he spoke on what would come next for his team.
