The Denver Nuggets are a sleeper team in the West. It looks like the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers are the cream of the crop in the Western Conference but teams like the Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks are teams to watch. The ability of Nikola Jokic is one of the reasons why the Nuggets are one of the best teams in the West.
Due to a four-team trade and players injured, the Nuggets found themselves with only seven players available. That means only two players available to sub. The Nuggets had two players play more the 40 minutes and Jokic almost played 40 minutes as he had 39 minutes played.
Jokic was still able to put up a 30 point, 21 rebound and 10 assist game even though he was probably dog tired during the course of the game. Jokic’s name was trending on Twitter after the game. Many were saying that he made himself a shoo-in for first-team All NBA.
