DeMar DeRozan, meanwhile, moved on with his career, rebuilding with the San Antonio Spurs. After twenty years of 50-win seasons, DeRozan’s first season saw the Spurs finish under 50 wins. The past two seasons mark the first time that the Spurs missed the playoffs, in consecutive seasons.
Recently, DeMar DeRozan sat down with Shannon Sharpe for a free agency edition “Club Shay Shay” interview. Here, he discussed his Spurs era, after being traded from the Toronto Raptors. DeRozan spoke on the possibility of joining the Lakers, saying he would fit in well, with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
